Job Purpose
Responsible for installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of plumbing, water supply, drainage, utility pipelines, and related systems within the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply and plumbing systems throughout the plant.
Maintain pipelines for process water, utility water, cooling water, drainage, and other non-hazardous utilities.
Repair and maintain PVC, CPVC, HDPE, GI, MS and other applicable pipelines/fittings.
Attend leakage, blockage.
Install and maintain valves, taps, pumps, tanks, drains, traps, pipe fittings and sanitary fixtures.
Conduct routine inspection of pipelines, valves, joints, drains and water.
Maintain proper drainage and prevent water leakage that could affect production equipment.
Knowledge of pipe cutting, threading, joining, fitting and basic fabrication work.
Basic understanding of pumps, valves, tanks and drainage systems.
