Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant HR Manager to join our manufacturing unit in Mundra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive work environment. The candidate must have extensive experience in HR operations, statutory compliance, and the ability to manage the entire employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure seamless HR operations, including employee records management, payroll processing, and attendance tracking.
Maintain strong knowledge of labour laws and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
Implement and oversee company policies and procedures to align with industry standards and legal guidelines.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection, interviews, and final hiring decisions.
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, coordinating induction programs and necessary training.
3. Employee Relations & Performance Management
Address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
Manage employee performance evaluations, support career development, and facilitate training initiatives.
Foster strong communication between management and employees, promoting a healthy work culture.
4. Statutory Compliance
Oversee compliance with all statutory regulations and labor laws.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory records, ensuring timely filing of returns and adherence to labor laws.
5. HR Policy Implementation
Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures as per organizational requirements.
Ensure alignment of HR policies with business goals and legal frameworks.
6. Training & Development
Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to support employee development.
Organize workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training to enhance team productivity and compliance knowledge.
7. Compensation & Benefits Management
Manage the compensation and benefits framework, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks provided by the company.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance within the manufacturing sector.
Experience in managing HR functions in a manufacturing or recycling plant.
Excellent knowledge of statutory compliance regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in HR management software and MS Office.
