Position Summary:

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in a car dealership, focusing on managing the financing options for customers interested in purchasing vehicles. This includes securing car loans, presenting financing plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining dealership profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Financing:

Assist customers in securing car loans by assessing their financial status and needs.

Present financing options tailored to customer profiles, explaining terms and conditions.

Ensure customers understand loan terms, interest rates, and repayment schedules.


2. Loan Processing:

Work with banks and financial institutions to secure loan approvals.

Prepare and submit accurate loan applications and required documentation.

Monitor loan approval timelines and communicate updates to customers and sales teams.


3. Compliance:

Ensure all financing transactions comply with legal regulations and dealership policies.

Stay updated on financial regulations and lending guidelines.

Conduct credit checks and validate customer information to prevent fraudulent activities.


4. Sales Support:

Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals that meet customer needs and dealership objectives.

Assist in closing vehicle sales by providing financing solutions.

Promote dealership incentives and financing specials to increase sales volume.


5. Profitability:

Negotiate interest rates and terms with lenders to benefit both customers and the dealership.

Analyze financial performance and prepare reports on financing revenue and trends.


6. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Address customer concerns regarding financing with professionalism and efficiency.


7. Team Leadership:

Train and mentor junior staff or sales team members on financing procedures.

Collaborate with the dealership management team to meet overall business goals.





Qualifications and Skills:


Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).


Proven experience in automotive financing or a similar role.


Strong knowledge of car loan products, interest rates, and credit analysis.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Proficiency in financial software and loan processing systems.


Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
