Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures.
Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, and workforce safety awareness sessions.
Ensure the proper use of PPE and safe working practices across the plant.
Monitor permit-to-work systems for hot work, height work, confined spaces, and other hazardous activities.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in incident reporting, accident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and statutory safety documentation.
Coordinate with departmental supervisors to implement safety standards and minimize workplace risks.
Required Skills
Knowledge of industrial safety practices, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
Understanding of PPE, fire safety, emergency response, and permit-to-work procedures.
Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Ability to conduct safety briefings and ensure workforce compliance.
Preferred Candidate: A disciplined and proactive safety professional with 2–3 years of industrial experience, capable of monitoring shop-floor safety and promoting a safe working environment.
