Key Responsibilities:
Monitor quality of raw, semi-processed, and finished rice (moisture, grain length, broken %, purity, color, aroma).
Oversee grading, sorting, polishing, and packing operations.
Approve final batches before dispatch as per contract/export standards.
Supervise laboratory testing and ensure equipment calibration.
Inspect incoming rice from suppliers and coordinate rejection of substandard material.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, BRC, and export standards.
Handle audits, customer complaints, and root cause analysis.
Train staff and prepare periodic quality reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree.
7–10 years’ experience in rice mill operations or rice export industry.
Strong knowledge of Basmati & Non-Basmati rice grades.
Experience with color sorters (Satake/Buhler preferred).
Good analytical, problem-solving and team management skills.
