Job Title: Dispatch Manager

Location: Mundra, Gujarat
Department: Logistics / Supply Chain
Reports To: Operations Manager & Plant Head

Salary : 45000 to 55000/-
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Manager to oversee all dispatch operations for our metal manufacturing and export company. The role involves managing the timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods to both domestic and international clients, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and export regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Scheduling:
  • Develop and maintain efficient dispatch schedules to meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with production, quality control, and warehouse teams to align dispatch with output and stock availability.
• Logistics & Coordination:
  • Manage transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents for domestic and international shipments.
  • Ensure cost-effective and timely transportation, optimizing routes and loads.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Supervise the preparation of shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, E-way bills, and export documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin).
  • Ensure compliance with all domestic transportation laws and international trade regulations (e.g., Incoterms, DGFT policies).
• Inventory & Tracking:
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatches, inventory movement, and delivery confirmations.
  • Implement and monitor tracking systems for in-transit shipments.
• Team Management:
  • Supervise dispatch team, loaders, and vehicle movement within the facility.
  • Train team members on best practices for safety, documentation, and communication.
• Customer Coordination:
  • Coordinate with clients and sales teams for dispatch planning and special delivery requirements.
  • Handle complaints or issues related to delays, damages, or misdeliveries.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5–8 years of experience in dispatch/logistics in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the metal industry.
