Job Summary:
Aga Khan School, Mundra (CBSE) is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support effective laboratory teaching and learning by maintaining lab facilities, assisting during practical sessions, and ensuring safety and compliance with school and CBSE guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers during Science / Computer laboratory practicals
- Prepare materials, equipment, and solutions for experiments
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and discipline
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and upkeep of lab equipment
- Maintain stock registers, inventories, and lab records
- Follow safety protocols and support first-aid procedures when required
- Report maintenance or replacement needs to concerned authorities
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Graduate in Science or relevant field
- Laboratory training or certification preferred
Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience as a Lab Assistant
School laboratory experience preferred
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety norms
Organized, careful, and attentive to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
