Civil Engineer – Commercial Projects & Maintenance

Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Engineer to independently handle new commercial construction projects as well as civil maintenance of our existing showrooms and properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and supervise new commercial construction sites from execution to completion.
- Coordinate and monitor contractors, labour, vendors and site activities.
- Ensure construction work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and timelines.
- Monitor civil works, materials, measurements, workmanship and overall site progress.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and management.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day site-related issues.
- Maintain proper records of site progress, work measurements, materials and project-related documentation.
- Handle civil maintenance and repair work of existing showrooms, offices and other properties.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance, renovation, repair and improvement works as required.
- Obtain quotations, compare requirements and coordinate with contractors/vendors for maintenance and project work.
- Regularly inspect existing properties and identify civil maintenance requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of both new projects and maintenance activities.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site/Civil Engineer.
- Experience in commercial construction projects will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of construction, site supervision and civil maintenance.
- Strong coordination and contractor/vendor management skills.
- Good planning, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidate should be capable of taking ownership of commercial projects and existing property maintenance.
