Job Description

A Senior Business Development Manager drives revenue growth and expands market share. They identify high-value opportunities, negotiate complex contracts, and forge strategic partnerships. This leadership role bridges the gap between sales, marketing, and executive teams to execute long-term commercial goals. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Growth: Design and implement comprehensive business plans to penetrate new markets and launch new service offerings.

  • Client & Partner Acquisition: Build and nurture high-level relationships with key stakeholders, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.

  • Experience: Typically 5–10 years of proven track record in B2B sales, key account management, or business development.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, persuasive pitching, and high emotional intelligence (EQ).

  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the target industry (maritime and logistics). Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot is essential.

  • Total revenue generated against quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Number of qualified leads converted into new strategic accounts.
