Job Description
- Mechanical – GET / DET :
- Assist in day-to-day plant operations, maintenance and production activities.
- Support the team in mechanical/electrical equipment inspection and maintenance.
- Monitor equipment performance and assist in identifying and resolving breakdowns.
- Learn and follow SOPs, safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
- Maintain daily records, checklists and maintenance-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Safety teams.
- Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and improvement activities.
- Support implementation of 5S, safety and process improvement initiatives.
- Gain hands-on exposure to plant machinery, equipment and industrial processes.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
- Electrical – GET / DET :
- Assist in day-to-day electrical maintenance and plant operations.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Assist in maintenance of motors, MCC panels, distribution panels, transformers, cables and electrical systems.
- Monitor electrical equipment and identify abnormalities or faults.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical breakdowns under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists and daily reports.
- Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety procedures and LOTO practices.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Follow SOPs, safety standards and 5S practices.
- Assist in energy-saving and electrical system improvement initiatives.
