1. Job Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical faults in Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles (Trucks and Buses).
Perform vehicle wiring, electrical connections and harness inspections.
Diagnose and repair faults in batteries, alternators, starter motors, lights, switches, fuses and relays.
Inspect and troubleshoot vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
Carry out electrical maintenance and replacement of defective components.
Use electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment properly.
Follow workshop safety procedures while handling batteries and electrical systems.
Complete assigned jobs within the given timeline and maintain work quality.
Maintain proper records of repairs and replacement of electrical parts.
Keep tools and the work area clean and coordinate with the Workshop Manager and other technicians.
