Aga Khan School, Mundra (CBSE) is looking for a qualified and energetic Physical Education Teacher to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and holistic development of students. The role involves planning structured physical education programs, coaching sports, and fostering healthy lifestyle habits in line with CBSE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct physical education classes as per CBSE curriculum

Organize indoor and outdoor sports activities, games, and fitness sessions

Identify and nurture students interest and potential in sports

Ensure safety and discipline during physical activities

Promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students

Prepare students for inter-school competitions, sports day, and annual events

Maintain sports equipment and related records

Track and document students physical development and participation

Collaborate with teachers and school leadership for student wellbeing

Eligibility & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / BPE or equivalent)

Masters degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) preferred

Sports coaching certification will be an added advantage

Experience:

5 to 8 years of relevant teaching experience

Experience in a CBSE / English-medium school preferred

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of physical education, sports rules, and fitness training

Good communication skills in English

Ability to motivate and engage students

Knowledge of sports safety and basic first aid

Positive attitude with strong classroom and field management skills
