*Job Summary:*
We are looking for an experienced *Sales Executive* with a strong background in *Shipping / Freight Forwarding*. The candidate should have good knowledge of the freight forwarding business and, most importantly, should have an *existing network/portfolio of shipping clients* and the ability to bring new business.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing shipping and freight forwarding clients.
* Generate new business through client visits, calls, references, and market networking.
* *Bring new clients/business from the candidate's existing shipping client network.*
* Identify potential customers and understand their shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics requirements.
* Handle sales enquiries and coordinate with internal teams for quotations and service requirements.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
* Negotiate rates and terms with clients to close business.
* Maintain regular follow-up with existing and prospective clients.
* Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
* Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
* Maintain proper records of leads, client interactions, quotations, and business generated.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
* Ensure good customer service and build long-term business relationships.
*Key Requirement:*
* Must have *2–5 years of experience in Shipping / Freight Forwarding Sales*.
* *Existing shipping/freight forwarding client contacts or an active client portfolio is highly preferred and will be a major advantage.*
* Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
* Good knowledge of the shipping and freight forwarding industry.
* Target-oriented and confident in business development.
