Role Summary

Responsible for ensuring high equipment availability, reliability, and safe plant operation through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment in a continuous-process plant.

• Key Responsibilities
• Execute preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance of plant mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, blowers, agitators, valves, pipelines, bearings, couplings and mechanical seals.
• Monitor equipment condition and drive reliability improvement and downtime reduction.
• Conduct RCA for recurring/critical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and execute shutdown/overhauling activities with minimum production loss.
• Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Stores and Contractors for timely maintenance execution.
• Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, spares and CMMS/maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PTW, LOTO and plant safety procedures.
• Supervise technicians and contractors and ensure quality and timely completion of jobs.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.

Good knowledge of rotating & static equipment.

Exposure to alignment, lubrication, bearings, mechanical seals, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of RCA, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance planning.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and CMMS.

Strong problem-solving, team coordination and communication skills.
