About the Role
We are looking for a Lab Chemist to support our laboratory and quality-control activities. The candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis, maintaining laboratory records, and ensuring testing is carried out accurately as per defined procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine chemical and wet chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct testing as per standard SOPs and laboratory procedures.
Prepare and handle chemical reagents and solutions.
Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory activities.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Ensure proper sampling, testing, and reporting of results.
Follow laboratory safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
Support the QA/QC team in day-to-day laboratory activities.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of wet chemical analysis and laboratory testing.
Knowledge of chemical reagents, solutions, and laboratory practices.
Basic understanding of laboratory instruments and their handling.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.
Good observation and analytical skills.
Qualification
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or a relevant qualification.
Experience
6 months to 1.5 years of relevant laboratory/chemical testing experience.
