Job Description
Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Mundra, Gujarat
Department: IT
Reporting To: IT Manager / Principal
Job Purpose
The System Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the school’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and user support, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the campus.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, printers, and related IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.
- Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance, backups, antivirus protection, and data security.
- Manage user accounts, email IDs, internet access, and system permissions.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of smart classrooms, CCTV systems, biometric devices, and other educational technology tools.
- Maintain IT asset records, licenses, and inventory documentation.
- Support online learning platforms, ERP systems, and examination-related technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and data protection standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a System Administrator or IT Support professional.
- Good knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, servers, firewalls, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in school ERP systems and educational IT infrastructure will be preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of network security and backup systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
- Good coordination and vendor management skills.
- Willingness to provide support during school events or emergencies.
